HAWAIIAN LIFE

To say that my recent week in Hawaii was  one of the best of my life would be an understatement. If you hadn't caught on, I was there with 9 of my best friends for our last trip together before we graduate, and it was nothing short of amazing. I can't help but realize how insanely lucky I am and how incredible my life really is. I don't think we take enough time to appreciate what we have, but this trip really made me do just that. Over the past couple years, I've lived in Paris, traveled to countless European countries, have seen so much of the world that many people never get the opportunity to see, traveled back to Paris many times, and it's only the beginning. But, sometimes we forget to recognize the beauty in our own backyards, which is why I loved this trip to Hawaii so much. It was my first time to the islands, and it definitely won't be my last. From cliff jumping to crawling through dark caves into mineral water pools where Hawaiian legends took place, to sun bathing and enjoying Corona's in the sand, to hiking through the most beautiful bamboo forests, everything about this (much needed!) vacation reminded me how truly lucky I am. I got to spend a week with 9 of my best friends for one last time before we all have to grow up and head in different directions, and I couldn't be more thankful. This is what life is all about... seeing the beauty all around the world and enjoying your time with the people who mean the most to you. So, here's to my upcoming trips, back to Paris (again!) in June, and to all the places my life will bring me in the world. And of course, to an amazing Hawaiian vacation that was nothing short of being one of the best trips I could imagine. New outfit posts coming this week!
